Challenge

We were approached by the recent new owners of a soccer club to build something brand new from the ground up. This was a project that had come together on the tails of a poor initial concept done by the past owners of the club for the project with big dreams and big ambitions. What they were working with before did not live up to the expectations and aspirations the owners envisioned for this club.

Impact

We wanted the brand identity to match with the dreams and ambitions the owners had for this club. I created a crest that would be worth rallying around. A story that fans could grab onto and feel deeply about. There was an importance to creating a feeling that any future fans could latch onto and feel like they are part of something greater than themselves. The result was a crest that perfectly summed up the region it was representing and record attendances in their inaugural season. Furthermore, they won the League1 Ontario Championship in their second ever year in existence, with a large credit admitted by them due to their passionate and dedicated fanbase.
